Wall works

In my wall installations, I explore the concept of ‘wabern’ within and the act of pointing beyond oneself.
My working method is very much craft-oriented. I work with MDF and aluminium sheets, saw elements out of the sheets, sand the shapes so that they take on a life of their own, and treat the surfaces with paint.

The openness of the elements allows them to establish a visual connection with their surroundings. The material aspect then recedes into the background.
